I was fortunate to travel to the Holy Land with a study abroad program. We spent 10 days around the Sea of Galilee. One day, our group took a boat tour across the lake. We stopped in the middle and talked about the significant Biblical events that took place in this beautiful region. As the afternoon wind rocked our boat back and forth, we dicussed the miracle Jesus performed there as the waters calmed to his words, "Be still." We then sang Be Still, My Soul. My thoughts are often turned to the last line of the 2nd verse when I feel like my life is in a storm: "Be Still, My Soul, the waves and winds still know His voice who ruled them while he dwelt below."
